About Matt

Thanks for checking out my blog and looking to learn a little more about me. I am nothing special, even if I do throw around that “I’m kind of a big deal” Anchorman quote to my friends way too much.

I’m really just a 20 something guy who loves technology, the web, web design, marketing and, oddly enough, psychology.

Currently I work as the Interactive Marketing Coordinator at the Detroit Regional Chamber (but I must say: in no way does the Detroit Regional Chamber endorse this blog. These are my own personal thoughts, and should be cited as such).

I have also worked (between the age of 15 and the end of college) as a grocery store bagger, a receptionist, customer service representative, camp counselor, usher, usher supervisor, advertising account executive, newspaper delivery boy, McDonalds chef, Target team member, telemarketer, psychology research subject, a person who put up party tents, freelance writer, mystery shopper and parking booth personnel.

I guess you could call me “well rounded” or “experienced” in the random.

I believe social interactions are always evolving (whether it be online or off) and that we all need to question and, if necessary, adapt the best practices we see floating through PowerPoint slides and blog posts.
